|---|---|---|
From werewolves to grizzlies; from the bullfighting arena to a mystery fantasy about Leprechauns and money trees; from invisible dogs to go-kart races; from legendary unicorns to pet dinosaurs; this author, known to all as The TaleTeller, weaves a different pattern of nail-biting, edge-of-the-seat stories through all his young adult and middle-grade juvenile novels. For page-turning excitement, choose any of them for your ultimate reading pleasure. You'll soon find that: ALL Of His Stories Have…
a beginning to GRAB you! Richard lives in a small town in Connecticut. He spent most of his life working as an accountant and field auditor specializing in finance and taxes. It wasn't until after he retired from the work force that he found the time to prioritize his creative aspirations by becoming a compulsive writer. After graduating from The Institute For Children's Literature in Westport, Connecticut, he began writing Young Adult and Middle-Grade Juvenile novels. His writing environment consists of a small room, a big desk, a computer, a couple of printers and his inventory of paperback novels. Anxious to begin writing, he wrote his very first young adult novel in thirty days. After revising, editing and formatting phases were complete, his first manuscript was sent to publishing houses all around the United States, only to return each time accompanied by the standard rejection slip. They will soon appear not only in paperback form, but possibly as E-Books and CDs and, if things go very well, as audio books. The publishing industry is a hard nut to crack. You send out queries to this publisher and that publisher, wait two or three months and then usually get a rejection slip back to wallpaper your den with. If you are lucky to have a publisher respond to your query and ask to see the full manuscript, you may wait an additional three to six months for a response. AND, if you are one of the fortunate ones to have a publisher select your manuscript and give you a contract, it may be another six months to a year and a half before you finally see your book in print. Or MAYBE you can hit the magic button and start on a rollercoaster ride to success, fame and good fortune. IF you are one of the fortunate writers to hit that button ( like Stephen King, Nora Roberts and others too numerous to mention ), you may become blessed with good fortune, too. That’s where Richard is at today. And maybe that’s where you’ll be tomorrow. Richard passes God's Blessings on to all you sincere, talented writers who aspire to make their voices heard by becoming published AUTHORS. May the wind be at your back and under your wings! May all your royalties be big ones! May you achieve the success you aspire to! ~ TaleTeller ~ You can contact the TaleTeller by clicking between the mailboxes below |
